Paradise Valley Athletic Club is a private 18-hole championship golf course located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, offering a traditional parkland layout that has challenged golfers for decades. Established in 1967 by local PGA Professional Ellis Bogan, the course was built on a 120-acre property along Mud Creek and was designed by golf course architect Maury Bell to provide an enjoyable yet demanding test for players of all abilities. From the beginning, the layout was created with multiple teeing grounds to accommodate golfers of varying skill levels while maintaining championship quality.

Known for its tree-lined fairways, strategically placed bunkers, gently sloping greens and natural elevation changes, Paradise Valley rewards accuracy and course management over sheer distance. A meandering creek comes into play on several holes, adding both beauty and strategic interest throughout the round. The course has earned a reputation as one of Northwest Arkansas’ classic layouts and has hosted numerous prestigious events, including South Central Section PGA tournaments, the Southwest Conference Championship, USGA qualifiers and Arkansas State Golf Association events. It also served as the home course for many standout University of Arkansas golfers, including two-time major champion John Daly during his development years.
