Patearoa Golf Club is located in Otago, New Zealand. Established in 1968, the club features a 9-hole course set in the Maniototo region. The area has a historical background as a mining township, originally known as Sowburn, which emerged in 1863 following the discovery of gold.
After the gold rush, the focus shifted to farming in the district. The club offers a community-oriented atmosphere and is supported by local residents, holiday makers, fishermen, and golfers.
