Phakalane Golf Estate Hotel Resort is an 18-hole championship course in the Phakalane development on the northern side of Gaborone, Botswana. The course was designed by Douw van der Merwe of DDV Design Group and forms part of the wider Phakalane Golf Estate and hotel development owned by Phakalane Estates. Contemporary descriptions state that course construction began in April 2000 and was completed in June 2002.
The championship routing is reported at 6,886 metres, or about 7,531 yards, and incorporates a substantial number of constructed hazards, including 15 dams and approximately 75 bunkers. Phakalane Estates describes it as Botswana's first PGA-standard golf course and its championship golf facility. The resort setting combines golf with accommodation and residential development, while golf facilities include a driving range, practice areas, golf shop, equipment rental, carts, lessons, dining and locker facilities.
