The course was established in 2009 on a former pineapple plantation in the hills outside Hua Hin.
Pirapon Namatra used the naturally rolling site to provide substantial changes of elevation and broad views while creating four distinct tee distances for different playing abilities.
The club operated for years as Banyan Golf Club Hua Hin before adopting the Pineapple Valley Golf Club name, referencing the site's agricultural history.
Pineapple Valley operates as a visitor-accessible championship course with extensive practice facilities.
