About Pinehills Golf Club

Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, Massachusetts, is a public daily-fee facility containing two separate 18-hole, par-72 championship courses rather than one single layout. One course was designed by Rees Jones and the other by Jack Nicklaus II under Nicklaus Design. Both occupy a roughly 300-acre property shaped by glacial terrain.

Because the Jones and Nicklaus courses have different routings, yardages and ratings, they should not be combined into one course-level scorecard. Pinehills operates a double-ended driving range with target greens and three short-game practice greens; range balls and golf carts are included in published green fees. The clubhouse includes a golf shop, restaurant and event facilities.

The course was designed by Rees Jones and Jack Nicklaus II. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Practice Facilities, Golf Shop, Golf Carts, Club Hire, Golf Academy, Restaurant, Event Facilities.

Origins

Pinehills was developed as part of the larger Pinehills community in Plymouth with two separate championship-course projects rather than a single 18-hole layout.

Did You Know?
Pinehills offers two independent 18-hole courses from different design teams on the same 300-acre property.

Design Philosophy

The Jones Course and Nicklaus Course are distinct designs and should be evaluated independently. Both use the property's glacial landforms, but their hole strategies, dimensions and scorecards differ.

Development

The golf operation grew around the two layouts with an extensive practice facility, clubhouse, dining, outings and academy programming.

Today

Pinehills operates as a public daily-fee facility with online booking for both courses and seasonal green-fee schedules.
