RedTail Golf Course is located in Beaverton, Oregon, United States. Originally an old farm, the property was acquired by the city to create an 18-hole golf course, replacing the 9-hole West Hills Golf Course. Designed by landscape architect Erv Thoreson, construction began in 1966, and the course opened in 1968.
In 1999, the course underwent a complete redesign by PP&R Golf Manager John Zoller, transforming it into a 7,100-yard championship 18-hole course with a covered, lighted driving range. It was renamed RedTail Golf Course in honor of the red-tailed hawks that nest in the surrounding trees.
