Grafarholt is Reykjavík Golf Club's historic 18-hole course in the Icelandic capital. The course opened in 1963 and is widely identified as Iceland's oldest 18-hole golf course. Swedish golf architect Nils Sköld designed the layout around the site's rugged ground, lava and heath.
Grafarholt plays to par 71 and published tee data extends to 6,057 metres from the white tees, with shorter yellow, blue and red options. The course has long been used for national, Nordic and European competition and remains a regular Icelandic tournament venue. Practice facilities include a TrackMan-equipped driving range, pitching and chipping areas, putting greens and bunkers.
The course is an 18-hole heathland golf course. It plays to par 71, 6,057m. Designed by Nils Sköld, the course originally opened in 1963. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Clubhouse, Restaurant, Pro shop, Driving range, TrackMan range, Putting green, Chipping green, Practice bunkers.
