Korpa is one of the principal golf sites operated by Golfklúbbur Reykjavíkur, Iceland's oldest golf club. Rather than a single fixed 18-hole routing, Korpa currently consists of three nine-hole loops: Sjórinn, Áin and Landið. These can be combined into different 18-hole configurations, which is why a single overall yardage has not been assigned here.
The Icelandic national tee-time system lists each of the three Korpa loops separately and identifies the club's region as Höfuðborgarsvæðið. Korpa's setting combines coastal and inland/river terrain, creating materially different character among the loops. Golfklúbbur Reykjavíkur itself was founded on 14 December 1934 under the name Golfklúbbur Íslands before adopting its present name as additional Icelandic clubs were established.
The course is a 27-hole links golf course. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving range, Putting green, Club rental, Golf carts, Restaurant, Clubhouse.

Korpa developed into a multi-loop golf facility at Korpúlfsstaðir. Its present structure comprises three nine-hole loops named Sjórinn, Áin and Landið, enabling more than one 18-hole combination rather than imposing a single permanent routing.
The national Icelandic golf booking system lists Sjórinn, Áin and Landið as separate nine-hole Korpa loops. The club also operates Grafarholt and a separate practice course.
