River Bend Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 public course in Wilder, Idaho, about 35 minutes from Boise. Opened in 1994 and designed by Joe Bideganeta, who still owns and operates it today, the course plays 6,884 yards from the back tees (course rating 72.3, slope 118) alongside the Snake River. Four holes run beside the river, including the par-4 4th, the signature hole, which plays toward a green guarded by an old grain silo left from the property's farming days.
The course includes a driving range and putting green, with cart and club rentals available.

Joe Bideganeta designed River Bend himself in the early 1990s, laying out eighteen holes on farmland along the Snake River just outside Wilder, Idaho. The course opened for play in 1994, giving Canyon County a public option a short drive from Boise, and Bideganeta has owned and operated it ever since.
Bideganeta routed four of the eighteen holes directly along the Snake River, using the water as a natural boundary rather than a constructed hazard. The best-known result is the par-4 4th, River Bend's signature hole, which plays toward a green guarded by an old grain silo — a working leftover from the land's farming days rather than a themed decoration.
Now entering its fourth decade, River Bend is still owned and run by the same person who designed it — a rare thread of continuity for a public course, most of which change hands multiple times over a comparable span.
