Royal Military College Golf Club is a public-access 18-hole golf course within the grounds of the Royal Military College at Duntroon in Campbell, Australian Capital Territory. Golf at Duntroon predates the present club: military staff created an early nine-hole course in 1919, while the modern club was formally established and opened in October 1962. The current men's Blue course plays to par 68 over 5,364 metres with an AMCR of 68.
The women's Red course measures 5,155 metres and plays to par 72 with an AWCR of 73. Membership is open to the general public and visitors can play seven days a week around competition and course-access times. The club also maintains a strong connection with Australian Defence Force personnel through discounted fees.
The course is an 18-hole golf course. It plays to par 68, 5,364m. The course originally opened in 1962. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Clubhouse, Bar, Function Room, Outdoor Seating, BBQ Area, Golf Carts, Push Buggy Hire, Club Hire, and 1 more.
Historical records indicate golf was played at the Royal Military College before or shortly after the First World War, with military personnel shaping a nine-hole course with sand greens. The present club dates from 1962, when soldiers and staff began official competition rounds and the Royal Military College Golf Club formally opened in October.
The club evolved from an activity primarily associated with military staff into a public golf club whose membership is open to civilians while retaining close links with Defence personnel.
RMCGC operates as a public-access golf club inside the Duntroon heritage precinct, with nine- and 18-hole competition and social play available around scheduled course access.
