The 1781 Club golf course in Peters Township, Pennsylvania, is the course formerly known as Scenic Valley. It is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland layout covering roughly 130 acres and measuring 6,319 yards from the tips according to the current club website. The course was designed by Dominic Palomba, Jr.
and built by the McCloskey brothers, with independent records dating its opening to 2001. The layout uses rolling fairways and bent-grass playing surfaces and remains open to public golfers while also offering annual memberships. The property was rebranded as the 1781 Club following a change of ownership in 2021, with substantial clubhouse and dining redevelopment accompanying the new identity.

The routing is a traditional parkland design over rolling western Pennsylvania ground. The modern club still describes it as a par-72 course with rolling fairways and fast greens.
The property changed ownership in November 2021 and was subsequently redeveloped and rebranded as the 1781 Club. The golf course itself was retained while the clubhouse and hospitality operation were substantially expanded.
The 1781 Club combines public daily-fee golf with annual memberships, dining, indoor golf and events.
