Shelby Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal course at 2021 Fatherland Street in Nashville, Tennessee. Opened in 1924, it was Nashville's first municipal golf course and occupies rolling land within Shelby Park in East Nashville. Metro Parks completed a major restoration around the course's centennial, rebuilding green complexes and surrounds, enlarging some teeing areas and upgrading the clubhouse.
New TifEagle Bermuda greens were planted in summer 2024. The current official scorecard is par 72 and lists the Blue tees at 6,079 yards with a 68.2 course rating and slope of 110; White measures 5,725 yards at 67.8/109, while the Yellow/Red set measures 4,873 yards at 71.2/114. Current green fees are $34 for weekday 18-hole walking rounds and $44 on weekends, with lower senior rates Monday-Thursday.

Ahead of its centennial the course underwent a major restoration that rebuilt greens and green surrounds, expanded selected teeing areas and upgraded the clubhouse. TifEagle Bermuda greens were planted in 2024.
Its century-long municipal role and the School Days Junior Golf Tournament give Shelby a distinct place in Nashville golf history.
Shelby remains a Metro Parks public course with walking, riding and membership options.
