Stevenage Golf & Conference Centre is a public parkland course set among the rolling Hertfordshire countryside on Aston Lane, just outside Stevenage. Operated by Everyone Golf as agent of Stevenage Borough Council, it's designed to be accessible to beginners while still testing more advanced players. The par-72 championship course plays to 6,364 yards from the White tees, 6,165 yards from the Yellow tees, and 5,637 yards from the Red tees, with a routing that features significant elevation changes, several blind tee shots requiring alignment with natural landmarks, water hazards, bunker complexes, and tree-lined fairways.
The opening hole is a sweeping par-5 dogleg with a pond guarding the green, while the par-3 4th, at 217 yards with an uphill approach, is the longest one-shotter on the course. The stroke-index-1 13th is widely regarded as the toughest hole on the layout, and the par-3 17th, playing 198 yards, is arguably its hardest short hole. The 12th offers a genuine risk-reward gamble on its second shot across a stream.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 72, 6,364 yards. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Pro Shop, Driving Range, Putting Green, Chipping Area, Golf Cart Rental, Restaurant, Bar / 19th Hole, Change Rooms, and 2 more.
