The Els Club at Copperleaf is an 18-hole, par-72 course at Copperleaf Golf & Country Estate in Centurion. Ernie Els designed the course, which opened in 2007. It is unusually long from its back tees, with published cards putting the championship setup at more than 7,300 yards.
The routing forms the golf centrepiece of the residential estate and has four principal tee options. Copperleaf has also been used for professional tournament golf, including the Tshwane Open in 2013 and 2014. Facilities associated with the club include a clubhouse, golf shop, dining and practice amenities.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. Designed by Ernie Els, the course originally opened in 2007. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Clubhouse, Pro shop, Restaurant, Practice facilities.
The golf course was created as the central sporting amenity of Copperleaf Golf & Country Estate in Centurion and opened in 2007.
Ernie Els produced a large-scale championship layout notable for its exceptional overall length from the back tees while providing shorter alternatives from forward tees.
Copperleaf gained international tournament exposure through the European Tour and Sunshine Tour-sanctioned Tshwane Open.
The course continues to operate as The Els Club at Copperleaf within the residential estate.
