Fazio's routing includes five par 3s, four par 5s and a double-green feature associated with the 10th. The club recently completed a comprehensive bunker renovation. Practice amenities include a large putting green, short-game area with two greens and a practice bunker.

Hasentree's golf course was created as the centerpiece of the private club community north of Raleigh. Tom Fazio designed the 18-hole layout, which opened in 2007.
Fazio used broad fairways, angled landing areas, doglegs, steep-faced bunkers and contoured greens to reward positioning rather than simply length. The course includes a double-green feature and several reachable par 5s that create risk-reward decisions.
The course has undergone a comprehensive bunker renovation in recent years, restoring and upgrading the sand hazards while retaining the underlying Fazio routing.
Hasentree is operated as a private Invited club and is available to members and their guests rather than through public tee-time sales.
