The ONE Hills Lisbon City Golf is a compact nine-hole urban course in Lisbon. The physical layout consists of seven par threes and two par fours, producing a nine-hole par of 29. The club publishes an 18-hole configuration of two circuits at par 58 and 3,122 metres, making the underlying nine approximately 1,561 metres.
Gary Grandstaff designed the course, which opened in 2003. It sits within Lisbon itself rather than at one of the coastal resort areas surrounding the city and is designed for shorter rounds and accessible golf. The greens use Penn A4 bentgrass and the fairways Bermuda grass.
The course is a 9-hole executive golf course. It plays to par 29, 1,561m. Designed by Gary Grandstaff, the course originally opened in 2003. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving range, Short game area, Putting green, Golf academy, Club hire, Trolley hire, Pro shop.
The course opened in 2003 as an unusual urban golf facility inside Lisbon. Gary Grandstaff designed the compact layout around the constraints and opportunities of an inner-city site.
Grandstaff created seven par threes and two par fours, prioritising a short playing time and a layout usable by beginners while still providing a conventional on-course test. The club describes a normal nine-hole round as taking roughly two hours.
The property has evolved into THE ONE Hills Lisbon City Golf, combining the nine-hole course with an academy, driving range and short-game practice facilities.
