Tiger Beach Golf Links is a seaside links-style course near Haiyang on China's Shandong coast. It was conceived and designed by Taiwanese owner Beta Soong and opened around 2000. Published course data describes an 18-hole par-72 layout extending to 7,222 yards from the back tees, with shorter 6,115-yard and 5,562-yard configurations.
The course was created beside the Yellow Sea with links-inspired features including pot bunkers, raised greens, rough and ground movement, although the underlying site is not traditional sandy linksland. Its current operational status requires caution: a specialist golf-course source states that Tiger Beach closed in 2019 pending complete redevelopment and reports uncertainty over whether it will reopen. Other directories continue to display historical visitor prices, but those should not be treated as current.
The course is an 18-hole links golf course. It plays to par 72, 7,222 yards. Designed by Beta Soong, the course originally opened in 2000.
Beta Soong selected an isolated seaside property near Haiyang with the intention of creating an authentic links-style golf course. The course opened around 2000.
Soong pursued traditional links visual cues including pot bunkers, raised greens, natural-looking ground movement and rough. The property is not geologically true linksland because of its heavier soil base.
A specialist course guide reports that Tiger Beach closed in 2019 for a proposed complete redevelopment.
Reopening could not be confirmed. Current operational status should be checked before treating Tiger Beach as playable.
