Timber Creek Golf Course is a public 27-hole golf facility at 7050 Del Webb Boulevard in Roseville, California. The property contains the 18-hole Timber Creek layout and the separate nine-hole Sierra Pines course, which the club says was added in 1998. Billy Casper and Greg Nash designed both.
Timber Creek's front nine is called The Lakes and uses ponds and waterfalls, while the back nine, The Oaks, runs through groves and is more enclosed. Sierra Pines is a shorter nine-hole layout. Environmental preservation was part of the original planning, including protection of sensitive areas and a designated bird sanctuary.
The course is a 27-hole parkland golf course. The course was designed by Billy Casper and Greg Nash. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Golf Lessons, Restaurant, Bar, Golf Carts, Event Facilities.
Timber Creek began as an 18-hole course serving the surrounding Roseville community. Billy Casper and Greg Nash designed the course to fit through the residential development while protecting environmentally sensitive ground.
The designers intentionally gave the two nines different characters. The Lakes uses ponds and waterfalls, while The Oaks is more enclosed by mature groves. Environmental areas were retained as part of the routing.
The nine-hole Sierra Pines course was added in 1998, expanding the facility to 27 holes.
The club promotes Sierra Pines as one of the country's recognised short-course layouts.
Timber Creek operates both layouts as public daily-fee golf with separate scorecards and pricing.
