Tiverton Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course at Post Hill in Tiverton, Devon. The club was established in 1932 after Sir John Amory provided land at Bradford Farm for the project. Five-time Open champion James Braid was engaged to design the course, and the course and clubhouse were officially opened on 28 May 1932.
Historical accounts also credit Lady Amory, the champion golfer Joyce Wethered, with contributing to the development of the present layout. A documented competition configuration measures 6,346 yards at par 71, while an older complete scorecard also records a 6,053-yard par-71 Yellow course and a 5,774-yard par-74 Red course. Current rating sources indicate that the club has since adopted newer tee naming and rating combinations, so those older tee names should not automatically be treated as the current card.

The idea of a golf club for Tiverton was discussed around 1930, with Raymond Penny among the principal advocates. The project became possible through Sir John Amory, a major local employer and fellow Rotarian, who acquired Bradford Farm and made roughly 120 acres available for golf. James Braid, five-time Open champion and by then a prolific course architect, was invited to design the course.
The course and clubhouse were officially opened on 28 May 1932. Lady Amory, better known in golf as Joyce Wethered, is credited in accounts of the club with contributing to the layout that developed from Braid's original design. The course has continued to evolve, including more recent work around the 16th hole.
Tiverton remains an 18-hole parkland members' club that welcomes visitors. A long-established competition card measures 6,346 yards at par 71, although current rating sources show that the club has introduced newer tee names and combinations.
