Tomahawk Golf Course

Origins

The Town of The Blue Mountains has owned and operated Tomahawk Golf Course since 2007, running it as part of the wider Tomahawk Recreation Complex alongside soccer fields and pickleball courts. No public record identifies who originally built the course or when it first opened prior to municipal ownership.

As a par-54 executive layout — 18 holes, all par 3s, totalling 1,640 yards — it was never designed to test low-handicap golfers. Its purpose has stayed consistent since the town took it over: a low-cost, walkable course for beginners, juniors, and anyone wanting a relaxed round without the time or cost of a full-length 18.
