The University of New Mexico Championship Golf Course is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and has a par of 72. Opened in 1967, the course has hosted several major tournaments, including the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championships in 1950, 1976, and 1992, as well as the women’s NCAA tournament in 1987. The North Course, built in 1942, was the first course in America to exceed 7,000 yards, measuring 7,300 yards from the Championship tees.
