S. Veterans Administration. It is no longer an operating golf course.
In November 2022 the city announced that VA management had plans for the property and that the municipal lease would expire on December 31, 2022. The land was then to be returned to Veterans Administration management. This closure is important for directory treatment because historical golf listings may still show the course as playable even though the city's own announcement establishes the end of golf operations under the lease.
The course is a 9-hole golf course. It is open to the public.
The City of Murfreesboro operated the nine-hole course under a lease arrangement with the Veterans Administration. In 2022 the VA developed plans for the property that meant the municipal lease would not continue.
The course closed when the City of Murfreesboro's lease expired on December 31, 2022, and the property returned to Veterans Administration management. It should be treated as a closed historical golf facility rather than an active course.
