Visby Golfklubb's main course is an 18-hole, par-72 layout at Kronholmen on Gotland. The club was formed on 2 October 1958 after land at Kronholmen had been acquired the previous year for a golf development intended in part to support tourism to Gotland. A nine-hole course was almost ready when the club was founded; the 18-hole course was ready for play in 1966.
The current design is credited by the club to Pierre Fulke and Adam Mednickson and underwent a major renovation in 2009. From the back tee it measures 6,300 metres. The course occupies a coastal site between Tofta and Västergarn, giving the present layout a links-inspired character and close relationship with the Baltic shoreline.

Visby Golfklubb was formally founded on 2 October 1958 with a nine-hole course close to completion.
