West Kent Golf Club is a private members' club at Downe in Kent that accepts visitor golf by arrangement. The club itself was established in 1916, while its present course at Downe was built in 1925 to designs by W. H.
Fowler and J. F. Abercrombie.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 71, 5,877m (6,427 yards). Designed by W. H. Fowler and J. F. Abercromby, the course originally opened in 1925. It is semi-private, welcoming both members and visitors. On-site facilities include Pro Shop, Golf Lessons, Club Fitting, Clubhouse, Function Room.
West Kent Golf Club was established in 1916. Its present course at Downe followed in 1925, when W. H.
Fowler and J. F. Abercrombie designed a new layout through a mixture of woodland, downland and parkland terrain.
The club has retained the historic routing while making substantial infrastructure investments, including a modern irrigation system, new pathways and improvements to its greens.
West Kent remains a private members' club but accepts visitor green fees throughout the year subject to availability and restrictions on weekend times.
