West Malling Golf Club at Addington operates two separate 18-hole courses, the Spitfire and Hurricane, rather than one 18-hole layout. Published scorecard data identifies the Spitfire as a par-70 course measuring 6,135 yards from the white tees and the Hurricane as a par-67 course measuring 5,665 yards from white. The existing database par of 70 therefore describes only the Spitfire and should not be treated as a club-wide figure.
The Spitfire is the more undulating of the two layouts. Both courses share the club's practice and clubhouse infrastructure, which includes a covered driving range, putting greens and short-game practice areas. Because the current record is named simply West Malling Golf Course, preserving the distinction between the two layouts is more accurate than importing one course's scorecard as if it described all 36 holes.
The course is a 36-hole parkland golf course. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Putting Green, Chipping Area, Practice Bunker, Pro Shop, Golf Lessons, Restaurant, Bar, and 1 more.
