The Wetlands Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal course at 2129 North University Avenue in Lafayette, Louisiana. It opened in April 2006 and was designed by Frank Burandt. The course stretches to 7,293 yards from the Black tees and plays to par 72, with an official Black rating of 74.9 and slope of 134.
Five tee sets reduce the course progressively to just over 5,000 yards. The routing uses wide fairways, subtle changes in elevation, native grasses and extensive water features; local tourism material notes that water affects 11 holes. The Wetlands is owned within Lafayette's municipal golf system and is open to public play.

The Wetlands opened in April 2006 as Lafayette's newest municipal golf course. Frank Burandt designed the course to use the area's lakes, wetland features, native grasses and wildflowers.
Burandt created broad fairways and multiple teeing options but used water, bunkered greens and native vegetation to introduce strategic demands. Water affects numerous holes rather than serving purely as scenery.
Lafayette Consolidated Government reports ongoing drainage and maintenance-facility improvements as the course has matured.
The Wetlands remains part of Lafayette's public golf system and supports recreational play, instruction, youth programmes and a substantial tournament schedule.
