Whangamata Golf Club's Titoki Course is an 18-hole parkland course at 2845 Waihi Road in Whangamata. The club purchased the Titoki property after a 1973 decision to expand beyond its original nine-hole Williamson Course, and the inaugural event on the 18-hole Titoki layout was played on 10 October 1982. The current official Blue men's course measures 5,390 metres, plays to par 70 and carries an NZG course rating of 68.5 with a slope of 120.
The White men's course is 5,156 metres at 67.1/118, while the Yellow women's course measures 4,722 metres, par 71, at 69.8/116. The Wentworth River passes through the property and trees shape many of the playing lines. Titoki has a golf shop, cart and club hire and public tee-time access, with separate peak and off-peak affiliated rates.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 70, 5,390m, course rating 68.5 and slope rating 120. The course originally opened in 1982. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Golf Shop, Club Hire, Golf Carts, Trundler Hire, Clubhouse, Café.
Whangamata's organised golf began with the Williamson Course, which held its inaugural opening day on 22 December 1968.
Growing demand led members to approve purchase of the Titoki property on 22 April 1973. The inaugural event on the completed 18-hole Titoki Course was played on 10 October 1982.
The club operates both Titoki and Williamson, with the golf shop based at Titoki and both members and visitors using the two-course facility.
