Golf Courses in Balearic Islands

The Balearic Islands offer a captivating golf landscape characterized by a mix of parkland and coastal courses, set against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea. Golfers will find themselves navigating fairways framed by lush olive groves and pine forests, with the Tramuntana Mountains providing a stunning backdrop on the island of Mallorca. Courses like Club de Golf Alcanada, renowned for its breathtaking sea views and lighthouse, and Golf de Son Gual, known for its challenging layout and immaculate conditioning, stand out as must-plays. The blend of natural beauty and thoughtfully designed courses makes golfing here a unique experience, distinct from the inland courses of mainland Spain.

Access to these courses varies, with a healthy mix of public green-fee play and exclusive members-only clubs. The best time to visit is from late spring to early autumn, when the weather is pleasantly warm and the courses are in peak condition. This region is ideal for golfers who appreciate scenic beauty and strategic course design, whether they are seasoned players seeking a challenge or casual golfers looking for a leisurely round. The islands' diverse offerings, from the bustling courses near Palma to the serene fairways of Menorca, ensure that every golfer finds their perfect match.
