Bruno Steensels

Bruno Steensels is a Belgian‐born golf course architect, educated in architecture at the University of Ghent (1979–1984). He began working in golf course design in 1987 and established his own firm, MasterGolf BVBA, in 1992, since completing over sixty projects across Europe.

His approach emphasizes strategic play, sensitivity to landscape, and designs for all levels of golfer. In the Netherlands, notable works include Golfbaan De Zeeuwsche (a 9‑hole and par‑3 course in Middelburg, opened 2008), Goyer Golf & Country Club (an 18‑hole inland‑dune style championship course) and renovation projects like The International in Amsterdam and Wouwse Plantage, among others.
