Frank Lennox

Frank Lennox served as curator of the adjacent Victoria Golf Club and, together with David (Jock) Whillans and support from Victoria GC, laid out the original nine‑hole Cheltenham Golf Course, which opened in 1936; his routing, clearing dense ti‑tree and bracken, remains the foundation of the course today. Only sparse documentation exists on his broader career beyond this project.
