Golf Course Architect
Gary D. Koch (born November 21, 1952, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana) is best known as a professional golfer and broadcaster, but he has also built a modest portfolio in golf course architecture.
Beyond his playing and broadcasting careers, he has engaged in course design—most notably the Arlington Ridge Golf Club near Leesburg, Florida, which he designed and opened in 2005. He also contributed to the front nine of “The Forest” course at The Eagles Golf Course in Odessa, Florida, and designed Mystic Dunes Golf Club in the Orlando area.
His designs emphasize playability and visual appeal, catering to golfers across skill levels without overshadowing strategic nuance.
