Jay Blasi is a modern golf course architect based in Los Gatos, California. He earned a degree in landscape architecture from the University of Wisconsin around 2000, then worked for over a decade with Robert Trent Jones II.

In 2012 he launched his own firm, Jay Blasi Design, through which he has delivered acclaimed renovations and new designs such as Poppy Ridge in Northern California, SentryWorld in Wisconsin, Santa Ana Country Club, Golden Gate Park Golf Course, and others. Blasi is noted for a land‑first, hands‑on design philosophy that emphasizes natural contours, walkability, and playability for golfers of all abilities.
