Golf Course Architect
Randy Heckenkemper is an American golf course architect based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He launched his career after earning a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Design from Oklahoma State University, initially working with Poe and Associates and Jack Nicklaus & Associates, before contributing to renowned projects alongside Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish.
In 1985 he founded Heckenkemper Golf Course Design and later co‑founded Planning Design Group’s golf division. His work includes original designs and renovations such as TPC Scottsdale’s Champions Course, Pinnacle Country Club, SilverHorn Golf Club of Texas, and the renovation of Lake Hefner North Course in Oklahoma City, among over 40 projects nationwide.
