William “Rocky” Roquemore is an American golf course architect born August 10, 1948, with a prolific international career spanning decades. He began working as an associate under Joe Lee in 1969, supervising construction on the first three Walt Disney World courses, later becoming Lee’s partner and collaborating on over 100 projects.

Afterward, Roquemore led his own Georgia-based design firm, delivering award‑winning layouts worldwide, particularly in Portugal and Scotland, including notable redesign work at Kilsyth Lennox Golf Club in Scotland, opened in 2002. His style emphasizes natural terrain and preserves a sense of history, drawing inspiration from architects like Alistair MacKenzie and Willie Park.
