Adlington Golf Centre is a family-owned pay-and-play facility on London Road in Adlington near Macclesfield. Its principal Heritage Course is a nine-hole, par-27 course measuring 1,483 yards from the Blue tees and 1,250 yards from Green. The Heritage Course opened in July 2020 and each hole is named for an aircraft associated with the nearby Woodford aviation works, including Anson, Lancaster, Vulcan and Nimrod.
The same property also contains the separate Academy Course, a 660-yard nine-hole pitch-and-putt specifically designed by Hawtree Ltd around short-game practice; its scorecard should not be merged with Heritage. Practice facilities include a floodlit 41-bay TrackMan driving range, putting and chipping areas, coaching and simulator facilities. The centre operates without a membership requirement.
The course is a 9-hole golf course. It plays to par 27, 1,483 yards. Designed by Hawtree Ltd, the course originally opened in 2020. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving Range, TrackMan Range, Putting Green, Chipping Area, Practice Bunker, Golf Simulator, Golf Lessons, Café, and 2 more.
The Heritage Course opened in July 2020 after the first COVID-19 lockdown. Later in 2020 the former Graduate Course closed as part of a road project. In August 2024 the centre added Australian Adventure Golf, an 18-hole themed attraction separate from its conventional golf courses.
Adlington remains family-owned and operates the Heritage and Academy courses on a public pay-and-play basis alongside the TrackMan range, coaching, café, adventure golf and other recreation facilities.
