Ballantrae Golf Club is a public 18-hole golf course at 1 The Master's South in Stouffville, Ontario. Canadian architect Doug Carrick designed the par-72 layout, which current course data lists at 6,764 yards from the Black tees with a rating of 72.5 and slope of 134. Four additional primary tee configurations shorten the course to 6,405, 6,026, 5,282 and 5,008 yards.
The official club site provides a driving range, chipping and putting practice areas and professional instruction. Current green fees published by Ballantrae are C$84.07 Monday through Thursday, with the same walking-only price for early weekday starts before cart availability, and C$97.35 Friday through Sunday and holidays. Twilight golf is C$53.10.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 72, 6,764 yards, course rating 72.5 and slope rating 134. The course was designed by Doug Carrick. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Putting Green, Chipping Area, Golf Lessons, Restaurant, Club Hire, Golf Carts.
The Ballantrae golf development was created on land held for decades by Schickedanz Brothers Limited. A local community history records construction beginning in 1999. Sources differ over whether opening occurred in fall 2000 or should be dated to 2001, so the exact opening year remains unresolved.
Doug Carrick designed the 18-hole layout across rolling Ontario countryside. The course is set up with a wide range of tee distances, allowing the same par-72 routing to play from approximately 5,000 yards to more than 6,700 yards.
Ballantrae remains a public golf facility with regular daily-fee play, practice areas and professional instruction. It is operated with advance tee-time access and publishes current seasonal green fees directly on its website.
