Barrington Golf Club is a private 18-hole club in Aurora, Ohio built around a Jack Nicklaus Signature course. Construction was underway by 1992 and the club opened in 1994. The par-72 layout uses broad fairways and substantial landing areas but retains strategic variety through doglegs, par threes and risk-reward par fives.
The official course tour publishes complete hole-by-hole yardages from Black, Blue, White and Yellow tees. Practice facilities include a full driving range with teeing areas at both ends, two chipping and pitching greens, practice bunkers and a large putting green. Golf membership forms part of a broader private-club offering that includes dining, tennis, fitness and swimming.
The course is an 18-hole golf course. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the course originally opened in 1994. It is a private members-only club. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Putting Green, Chipping Greens, Practice Bunkers, Golf Shop, Dining, Tennis Courts, Swimming Pool, and 1 more.
Construction of the Jack Nicklaus-designed course was underway in Aurora in 1992. Barrington Golf Club opened in 1994 as a private club centred on the Signature layout.
The course uses generous landing areas rather than demanding perfection from every tee. Its strategic variety comes from changes in direction, long and short holes and risk-reward decisions, while the greens are notably less severely contoured than many Nicklaus Signature designs.
Barrington remains a private club combining golf with racquet sports, swimming, fitness and dining.
