Blue Mash Golf Course is a public, KemperSports-managed course in Laytonsville, Maryland, roughly midway between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. Designed by Arthur Hills and opened in 2001, the layout deliberately blends several styles across its 18 holes — a mix of links-style, parkland, wooded and water holes — giving each nine a different character rather than settling into a single template.
Playing to a par of 71 across four tees, from 4,966 yards at the forward Red markers up to 6,885 yards from the Gold tips (course rating 73.3, slope 133), the course is built to be approachable: Hills avoided forced carries, so shorter hitters and beginners can play around trouble rather than over it, while the back tees still present a genuine test for low-handicap players. Bentgrass tees, fairways and greens run throughout.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 71, 6,885 yards, course rating 73.3 and slope rating 133. Designed by Arthur Hills, the course originally opened in 2001. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Club Fitting, Golf Lessons, Full Membership, Junior Membership, Practice Green, Bunker Practice, Club Hire.
