Bribie Island Golf Club is an 18-hole sand-based course at Woorim on Bribie Island. The club's origins date to 1969, when community figures Don Mullen and police sergeant Jim Jeppesen discussed establishing a golf club after returning from a round at Caboolture. Support was assembled from local and state figures and land at Skirmish Point was pursued for the project.
Professional golfer and greenkeeper Arch McArthur inspected the proposed site and advised the founders on its suitability for golf. The present blue course measures 6,202 metres, plays to par 72 and has a slope rating of 130. White tees measure 5,959 metres at par 72 with slope 123, while the women's red course measures 5,541 metres at par 74 with slope 127.
