Design Philosophy

The course uses its hilly 65-hectare valley site as the main source of difficulty. The club describes a layout that rewards accurate club selection and positioning rather than relying only on length. Bermuda Tifway fairways and tees lead to Tifdwarf putting surfaces within the existing tropical vegetation.

Development

Bukit Unggul became part of the golf infrastructure serving the developing Putrajaya-Cyberjaya and Kuala Lumpur International Airport corridor. Golfplan is associated with the project in specialist sources, with Ronald Fream consistently credited and David Dale also named by several secondary references.

Today

The club operates an 18-hole, par-71 course measuring 5,858 metres and retains a broad range of sporting, dining and function facilities. Visiting play is available, although no current official tariff was verified in this pass.
