Caerleon Municipal Golf Course is located in Newport, Wales, and is recognized as the first municipal golf course in the country, having opened in 1976. The course features a 9-hole layout and a 9-hole par-3 course, which was developed with a Ryder Cup Legacy Grant from the Welsh Government to promote the game among beginners. Additionally, a Footgolf course runs alongside the par-3 course.
The facility operates on a pay-and-play basis, allowing visitors to enjoy the game without the need for prior booking.
On-site facilities include Practice Green, Chipping Area, Pro Shop, Corporate Membership, Country Membership, Restaurant, Bar, Café, and 1 more.
