Centennial Park Golf Centre is a 27-hole public executive golf facility in Toronto, Ontario. It opened on 30 June 1987 as an 18-hole course with the East and West nines, together with a driving range, mini-golf, practice facilities, restaurant and bar. The original course was designed by Dr.
Michael Hurdzan and Robert Labbett. A third nine, the North Course, opened in 2001 in response to increased demand, creating the present 27-hole configuration. Each nine is par 30, with six par 3s and three par 4s.
The course is a 27-hole executive golf course. Designed by Michael Hurdzan and Robert Labbett, the course originally opened in 1987. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Putting Green, Chipping Area, Mini Golf, Pro Shop, Club Hire, Golf Cart Rental, Golf Lessons, and 2 more.
Private investors partnered with the City of Etobicoke to develop Centennial with the stated aim of providing affordable golf without taxpayer funding. The facility opened on 30 June 1987 with 18 executive holes, a driving range, mini-golf, practice areas and hospitality facilities.
Michael Hurdzan and Robert Labbett designed the original East and West nines as executive-length golf. Each nine has six par 3s and three par 4s, creating a par-30 layout that can be combined into par-60 18-hole rounds.
The North nine opened in 2001 to respond to increased demand, bringing the facility to 27 holes.
Centennial continues as a public-access golf centre with three nine-hole loops, driving range, mini-golf, lessons, leagues and restaurant facilities.
