Chardonnay Golf Club is an 18-hole semi-private course in American Canyon at the southeastern edge of Napa Valley. The course opened in 1991 and was designed by Algie Pulley. Its longest published setup measures 6,948 yards, with five official tee sets identified by the club as Professional/Black, Tournament/Burgundy, Men's/Green, Seniors/Ivory and Ladies/Gold.
The routing is unusual in having six par fives, six par fours and six par threes. It crosses more than 150 acres of Chardonnay, Merlot and Pinot Noir vineyards and incorporates lakes, creeks, native vegetation and designated wildlife-preserve areas; there are no residential developments lining the golf holes. Practice facilities include a two-acre driving range, practice bunker, chipping greens and putting green.
