Chatrium Golf Resort Soi Dao Chanthaburi is an 18-hole, par-72 resort course at Pong Nam Ron in Chanthaburi. Denis Griffiths designed the original course, which opened in 1996, and Thai architect Pirapon Namatra of Golf East led a renovation in 2015. The Black course measures 7,143 yards, with additional published tees at 6,683, 6,363, 5,911 and 5,237 yards.
The routing covers approximately 395 acres at the foot of Soi Dao Mountain and incorporates creeks, bunkers, elevation changes and several split or elevated playing corridors. The club specifically identifies the par-three 14th as a notable hole. In 2026 the course is undergoing another major enhancement programme: holes 10-18 are available from 25 July through 30 October, with all 18 holes scheduled to reopen on 1 November 2026.
The course is an 18-hole resort golf course. It plays to par 72, 7,143 yards. Designed by Denis Griffiths, the course originally opened in 1996. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving range, Putting green, Chipping green, Practice bunker, Pro shop, Golf cart hire, Caddie service, Club hire, and 5 more.
The course began as Soi Dao Highland Golf Club, with American architect Denis Griffiths designing the original 18 holes against the mountainous landscape of Chanthaburi. It opened in 1996.
Griffiths used the natural changes in elevation, creeks and mountain setting as principal design elements. The routing contains multiple par threes and par fives, with water and bunkering repeatedly influencing approach angles.
Pirapon Namatra of Golf East undertook a major renovation in 2015. The property subsequently became Chatrium Golf Resort Soi Dao Chanthaburi. A further course-enhancement programme is underway from March through October 2026, with the course being operated as alternating nine-hole sections during the work.
Only holes 10-18 are scheduled to be available between 25 July and 30 October 2026. Chatrium states that the complete 18-hole course is scheduled to reopen on 1 November 2026.
