Coyote Springs Golf Club is an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature design in Coyote Springs, Nevada. The course, originally identified by Nicklaus Design as The Chase, opened in 2008 and plays to par 72. It ranges from 5,349 yards at the forward tees to 7,471 yards from the championship tees.
Eleven lakes are incorporated into the routing, an unusual amount of water for a desert course, alongside extensive bunkering and the open Nevada landscape. Nicklaus Design describes it as the first of a planned series of Nicklaus courses for the Coyote Springs community, although the wider development did not ultimately produce that original network of courses. The club operates a large practice facility and public tee-time booking.
The course is an 18-hole desert golf course. It plays to par 72, 6,831m (7,471 yards). Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the course originally opened in 2008. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving Range, Practice Green, Pro Shop.
The Chase was developed as the first golf course for the larger Coyote Springs community and opened in 2008. Jack Nicklaus was commissioned to design the course, with plans at the time envisioning additional Nicklaus layouts across the development.
Nicklaus combined desert terrain with eleven lakes and a large collection of bunkers. Five sets of playing distances were intended to make the same routing playable from 5,349 to 7,471 yards.
The course received substantial new-course attention in 2008, including recognition from Golf Digest, Golf Magazine and Travel + Leisure Golf.
Coyote Springs remains an 18-hole par-72 daily-fee course and retains the original Jack Nicklaus Signature routing.
