Crestview Golf Club is a public 18-hole course in Muncie, Indiana, opened in 1955 and designed by Bill Williamson. Alongside the main championship layout, the property also operates a companion 9-hole executive course, giving the club two distinct playing options on site — a full round for experienced golfers and a shorter, faster loop well suited to beginners, juniors and quick evening rounds.
The championship course plays to a par of 71 over 6,198 yards from the Blue tees (course rating 69.5, slope 120), a modest, approachable test that has made it a long-running community fixture on Muncie's south side. The club describes its goal as providing "professional service and a family-friendly atmosphere at an affordable rate," and its programming backs that up: Crestview runs Men's and Women's Associations, hosts a First Tee chapter and the ECI Junior Golf Tour, and even offers FootGolf on select holes.

The 18-hole layout was built as a public facility on Muncie's south side in Delaware County, rather than as a private club, and that has shaped its identity ever since. It plays to a modest par 71 over roughly 6,200 yards, with a course rating and slope (69.5/120 from the longest tees) that put it well within reach of everyday golfers rather than positioning it as a stern test.
In 1976, the club added a nine-hole executive course alongside the original 18, giving Crestview a second, shorter layout built around quicker rounds and shorter holes. The addition gave the property a dual role: a full 18-hole test for experienced players and an accessible, faster loop for beginners, juniors and golfers with less time to spare.
Crestview is run by Matt Sauter, a Muncie native and PGA Class A professional who returned to the area in 2007 after working in the golf business in Charlotte, North Carolina, and now serves as the club's head professional and owner. The course anchors local junior golf through a First Tee chapter and the ECI Junior Golf Tour, alongside long-running Men's and Women's Associations, while Mulligans Clubhouse Grill handles food and drink on site. More than seven decades after it opened, Crestview remains one of Muncie's principal public golf facilities.
