The Kittocks Course is one of two championship courses at Fairmont St Andrews, alongside the Torrance Course. The coastal layout opened in 2001 and was originally designed by Bruce Devlin and Gene Sarazen. From the longest published markers it extends to approximately 7,192 yards.
Fairmont describes the course as links-style, with rolling greens and undulating fairways, and notes that its traditional routing places the ninth green at the point furthest from the clubhouse. The Kittocks has been used for significant tournament golf, including The Open Championship Final Qualifying. Fairmont operates golf year-round, with seasonal tee-time availability, and accepts visitor tee-time bookings.
The course is an 18-hole links golf course. Designed by Gene Sarazen and Bruce Devlin, the course originally opened in 2001. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Lodge, Room, Driving range, Putting green, Chipping area, Pro shop, Restaurant, Bar, and 8 more.
The Kittocks was created as one of the two championship layouts associated with the St Andrews Bay development, now Fairmont St Andrews. Bruce Devlin and Gene Sarazen are credited with the original design, and the course opened in 2001.
Fairmont describes Kittocks as a links-style layout characterised by undulating fairways and large rolling greens. Its routing follows a traditional out-and-back principle in which the ninth green is the furthest point from the clubhouse before the course turns back toward the resort.
Kittocks and its sister Torrance Course have both been used for The Open Championship Final Qualifying, giving the resort a documented role in championship golf around St Andrews.
Kittocks remains one of Fairmont St Andrews' two championship courses. Golf operates throughout the year, subject to seasonal tee-time schedules, and visitors can book rounds through the resort.
