Origins

Fairview Mountain traces its history to 1925. The club therefore predates the modern championship course and has evolved substantially over its century of operation.

Development

The club's official material states that Fairview Mountain was expanded under the direction of Canadian golf architect Les Furber. His work is central to the modern course, while the 1925 date refers to the establishment of the club rather than a claim that the current routing opened intact that year.

Recognition

The club states that Fairview Mountain has been ranked by SCOREGolf among Canada's leading courses open to public play.

Today

Fairview Mountain is a member-owned club that also offers public golf, with extensive practice, fitting, instruction, retail and dining facilities.
