Forest Park Golf Club is a 27-hole golf facility at Stockton-on-the-Forest, near York in North Yorkshire. Its two layouts are the 18-hole Old Foss Course and the nine-hole West Course. The Old Foss is a par-71 parkland layout measuring 6,665 yards from the white tees, 6,341 yards from yellow and 5,716 yards from red.
The relatively level terrain incorporates subtle natural undulations, established trees and the Old Foss Beck, which crosses or borders several holes. The stream is particularly significant on holes 10, 11 and 12, collectively known locally as York's own Amen Corner. The 10th is a 602-yard par five from the white tees, while the course also includes four par threes and several doglegs.
The course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. It plays to par 71, 6,665 yards, course rating 72.7 and slope rating 136. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Clubhouse, Restaurant, Visitor Golf, Membership.
The Old Foss routing incorporates the natural stream as a recurring strategic feature rather than relying exclusively on artificial hazards. Its influence is concentrated around the 10th, 11th and 12th holes, where the positioning of shots relative to the water is particularly important. The relatively flat land is supplemented by natural undulations, doglegs and tree-lined playing corridors.
Forest Park developed as a multi-course golf facility with two separately identified layouts. The Old Foss provides an 18-hole championship-length course, while the West Course supplies an additional nine holes. The club publishes distinct scorecards and ratings for these layouts.
The club operates 27 holes and provides visitor booking alongside membership golf. The Old Foss and West courses remain separately identifiable layouts, each with its own published course information.
