Golf Club Adamstal's Championship Course is an 18-hole, par-70 layout in the Lower Austrian foothills at Ramsau. Irish architect Jeff Howes designed the club's golf holes around steep terrain, streams, forest clearings and rock formations. The Championship Course measures 5,919 metres from the White tees, with a published course rating of 73.0 and slope of 136.
Five principal tee options extend down to roughly 4,400 metres. Adamstal also operates the separate nine-hole Wallerbach Course, which should not be merged into this Championship Course record. Visitors are accepted.
The course is an 18-hole mountain golf course. It plays to par 70, 5,919m (6,473 yards), course rating 73 and slope rating 136. The course was designed by Jeff Howes. It is open to the public. On-site facilities include Driving range, Practice facilities, Restaurant, Accommodation, Club rental, Golf carts, Trolley rental.
Adamstal was developed in the narrow, highly contoured landscape around Ramsau rather than on conventional flat golf land.
Jeff Howes integrated streams, elevation changes, forest clearings and exposed rock into the routing, producing substantial changes of height while retaining distinct individual holes.
The club operates the 18-hole Championship Course and separate nine-hole Wallerbach Course, with visitor play and on-site accommodation.
